  • July 2, 2015: Alexandra Reeve Givens, daughter of the late "Superman" actor Christopher Reeve, has welcomed her first child. Christopher Russel Reeve Givens was born June 13 in Washington, D.C. He weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces. "He was named after his grandfathers on each side," a family representative told People magazine. "The entire family is thriving during their first few weeks home." Alexandra, 31, is the daughter of Reeve and Gae Exton. She works as a lawyer in the U.S. Senate and as an adjunct professor at Columbia Law School. She met her husband, Garren Givens, 33, while both were studying at Yale University.
